- Washington residents should go to the Washington Healthplanfinder website. You may find that you qualify for a subsidy that allows you to purchase insurance at a reduced premium through the exchange. The website has a lot of information, as well as a way for you to ask questions. Get informed. There is a lot to consider.
- Local 887 workers participate in the IATSE National Benefit Funds. The Funds have posted several informational letters regarding how Plan C3 fits in with your choices under the ACA. Read it.
- For those wishing to utilize the NBF Medical Reimbursement Program, the new ACA regulations are prompting a shift in this option. The alternate insurance has to meet the ACA requirements and be part of a group plan. Also, subsidized plans offered through the Washington health exchange do not qualify as alternate insurance. There is new information to FAQ's on the website.
